Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Butsy Grabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ringo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Johnny Ringo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butsy Grabber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Ringo!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringo misses with a body shot.
Ringo misses with a few strikes there.
Grabber staying out of range there.
Johnny Ringo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grabber ducks under a wild hook from Ringo.
Grabber looks to score with a jab to the body but Ringo is just out of range.
Grabber scores with a jab to the head.
Ringo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grabber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice defenses there by Grabber.

Grabber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ringo but Ringo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A shot to the body from Ringo misses
enabling Grabber to counter with a crisp jab.
Ringo missing with a left hand there. Grabber was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ringo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Grabber.
Grabber tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ringo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Grabber somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butsy Grabber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ringo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ringo looks to land a right hand but Grabber moved out of range.
Johnny Ringo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ringo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grabber was well out of range. Poor timing from Ringo.
Ringo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grabber.
Grabber ducks under a wild hook from Ringo.
Ringo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ringo throws a right and a left that Grabber avoids nicely.
Grabber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ringo pinned against the cage. Ringo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Grabber.
Grabber misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ringo sneaks back into half guard.
Ringo wants to get back to his feet.

Ringo is defending against the submission attempts here by Grabber.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ringo regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Grabber.

Grabber stands and throws Ringo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Grabber working the strikes but Ringo uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Grabber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Grabber trying to mount his opponent but Ringo defends it.
Grabber slips a nice elbow through Ringo's hands, connecting with Ringo's forehead.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ringo tries to kick Grabber off but Grabber keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Grabber throws a strike but Ringo avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Grabber drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ringo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Grabber has Ringo in his guard.

Ringo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Grabber throws a lazy right hand but Ringo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Grabber looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Grabber tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ringo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ringo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Grabber winds up and cracks Ringo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Grabber is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ringo sees it coming and defends easily.
Ringo controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Ringo wants to get back to his feet.

Grabber looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Grabber is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Grabber sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ringo defending well though.
Ringo manages to get to full guard.
Ringo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Grabber looking to pass the guard.
Ringo wants to stand but Grabber is controlling the position.
Ringo wants to sweep here but Grabber controlling him for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Grabber with a flurry of punches that miss.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Grabber fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ringo sprawls well initially but Grabber persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nice strikes from Grabber there.
Grabber looks to land a strike but Ringo avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grabber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Grabber is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ringo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ringo has escaped and now he's on top!

Butsy Grabber showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Grabber has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
