Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Monsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blade comes into the arena with For Whom the Bell Tolls blaring out of the sound system. Monsson has chosen Tenacious D - Master Exploder as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Blade does no damage.
Blade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blade takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Monsson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blade's calf.
Blade is looking to clinch but Monsson is avoiding it.
Monsson scores with a sloppy right hand. Blade should have avoided that one.
Blade on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Monsson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blade circles away.
Blade throws a big shot that misses.
Monsson misses with a straight right.
Monsson clobbers Blade with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Monsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Monsson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Blade lands with an uppercut that bounces Monsson off the cage and back into rage.
Blade misses with a looping left.
Monsson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bobby Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Monsson.
Monsson just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blade keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blade avoids a punch combination nicely.

Monsson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Monsson showed some decent athleticism there.
Monsson trying to pass the guard but Blade defending well.
Blade is not content to let Monsson control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Monsson is looking to advance position but Blade won't allow it.
Blade wants to control but Monsson passes into side.

Monsson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Blade looks calm but he's in trouble here. Monsson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Blade is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Monsson lets go of the hold and Blade can pop his arm back in it's socket.
