The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McSlugg stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McSlugg wants it to stay on the feet.
St Pierre moves out of range of the strikes.
McSlugg throws a jab but it's blocked by St Pierre.
St Pierre swinging wilding here.
St Pierre on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
St Pierre throws a right and a left that both miss.
McSlugg ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

McSlugg lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
St Pierre has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McSlugg finds it's way round the side to connect with St Pierre's head.
Nice uppercut lands for McSlugg. That snapped St Pierre's head back.
Gorge St Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

St Pierre closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McSlugg tries a body shot but St Pierre blocks it.
St Pierre tries to circle away but McSlugg has him pinned against the cage.

St Pierre breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
St Pierre throws a shot from downtown. McSlugg moves away and avoids it.
McSlugg showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from St Pierre.
McSlugg slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
St Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McSlugg.
St Pierre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Aaron McSlugg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gorge St Pierre.
McSlugg connects with a good right hand that stumbles St Pierre. St Pierre circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
St Pierre looks gassed!
St Pierre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McSlugg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

McSlugg connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
The fighters circle momentarily. McSlugg darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
McSlugg scores with a shot to the body.
McSlugg is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McSlugg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
McSlugg is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
McSlugg sizes up St Pierre with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McSlugg throws a series of strikes that have St Pierre backpedaling.

It looks like Gorge St Pierre has been cut.

St Pierre takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McSlugg scores with a decent looking hook.
St Pierre doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McSlugg drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks St Pierre right on the button. St Pierre goes down! McSlugg follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! McSlugg gets the win via TKO!
