The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rick circles away from the clinch attempt.

Panasonic stands and steps away. Rick gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Panasonic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Panasonic looks up at the clock and then as Rick takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Panasonic smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rick is covering up but some of the strikes from Panasonic are getting through and doing damage.
Panasonic cracks Rick with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Rick from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Panasonic working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Rick is doing well to defend. Panasonic seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Rick is forced to tap and this one is over!
