The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjarnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.
Bjarnson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Jones takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bjarnson misses with a series of wild punches.

Jones cracks Bjarnson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Bjarnson 's defenses.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bjarnson lands with a slapping head kick.

Jones throws a right hand that Bjarnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Bjarnson also avoids with ease.
Howard Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
