Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt manningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). manningham comes to the cage accompanied by hard as a rock. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins forces manningham back against the cage and clinches.
manningham wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Collins throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Collins misses with an elbow over the top.
Collins gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
manningham is looking to control Collins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can manningham avoid being mounted?
Collins prevents manningham from improving his position.
Collins is looking for a kimura but manningham is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Collins to get the leverage.
manningham is positioning himself well to prevent Collins advancing to mount.
Collins is thwarting manningham's attempts to control the position.
manningham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Collins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
manningham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Collins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Collins's back!
manningham looking for the choke but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collins has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from manningham.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
manningham punishes Collins with strikes from the back mount.
manningham lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
manningham is striking well from the back but Collins escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Collins looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. manningham lands a nice short elbow.

manningham is nestled in close to Collins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
manningham is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Collins defends it well.
manningham lands with a punch from half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Collins throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
manningham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Collins but Collins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Collins throws a jab but it's blocked by manningham.
Excellent takedown into side control there by manningham.
manningham cracks Collins with a big elbow.
manningham tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no manningham has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Collins gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Collins controls manningham momentarily but manningham frees himself.

manningham is sitting in close to Collins's body. Collins has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! manningham is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, manningham is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Collins.
