Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Bobby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oscar Scott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oscar Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Bobby!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby has a takedown stuffed.
Scott swings for the body but Bobby moves out of range.
Bobby moves out of range as Scott strikes.

Scott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bobby manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Scott has gone for a leg lock! Bobby slips out almost immediately though and dives into Scott's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scott looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bobby got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bobby has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.

Bobby stands up and waves to Scott to follow him.
Scott misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bobby takes one to the chin there.
Bobby shoots in and drives through. Scott sprawls well.

Scott tries to land a knee to the head but Bobby blocks with his arms.
Scott is breathing heavily.

Bobby decides to pull guard.

Scott drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bobby dives on top into guard.

Bobby fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scott avoids it really well and circles away.

Bobby shoots in for a takedown but Scott shows good takedown defense.
Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bobby moves out of range as Scott strikes.

Bobby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scott was covering up waiting for the punch and Bobby finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Scott had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bobby is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Scott Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bobby's back instead.
Bobby is trying to get back to his feet but Scott has full control of the position and if anything, Bobby has just worked his way into a worse spot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bobby defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.

Scott escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bobby gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bobby wants to get up but he can't break Scott's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Scott is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bobby sees it coming and defends easily.

Scott is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bobby defends it well.

Bobby moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Scott drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bobby looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bobby looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bobby!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bobby connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Scott some visible discomfort.

Scott is looking for a sweep.
Bobby trying to control the position but Scott is working away.
Bobby has knee on belly and moves into mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bobby is looking to take a break and control but Scott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bobby has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Scott looks to land a combination but Bobby avoids it well.
Bobby slips a jab and a cross from Scott.

Bobby feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Scott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bobby doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scott.

A close second round but Ricky Bobby will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bobby wants to stand but Scott has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Bobby stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Scott to get to his feet.

Scott tries for a takedown but Bobby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Scott is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Bobby's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bobby looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Scott postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bobby is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Scott, into his guard.

Scott throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bobby uses it to pass to side control.

Bobby is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Scott's shoulder. That is not cool.

Ricky Bobby is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Scott tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
