Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Rambusch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and He Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). He Jin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richard Rambusch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, He Jin! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rambusch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rambusch looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Jin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rambusch paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rambusch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jin tries to clinch up but Rambusch circles away and keeps his distance. Rambusch shoots for a double leg takedown but Jin sprawls well. He's pushed Rambusch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jin stuffs the takedown attempt from Rambusch. Rambusch gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jin tries to close the distance and clinch but Rambusch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jin wants to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fight stays on the outside here - Jin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. He Jin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jin is looking to clinch but Rambusch is avoiding it.
Rambusch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jin slips a jab from Rambusch. Rambusch misses with a double jab.
Jin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rambusch counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rambusch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jin looking to throw knees to the head but Rambusch is blocking nicely.

Rambusch is trying to trip Jin. He has hold of a leg but Jin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rambusch persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rambusch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rambusch is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rambusch's back instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rambusch controlling Jin 's hands. Jin is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rambusch has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jin has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rambusch taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jin doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). He Jin!
