The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatti III connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Shaun Shurk has been cut.
Gatti III misses with an uppercut.
A swing and a miss from Shurk.
Gatti III misses with a body shot.
Gatti III takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shurk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gatti III defending well as Shurk loads up on a big left hand.
Shurk dives in and grabs Gatti III's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gatti III pushes down on Shurk's head and hops out.
Gatti III takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Shurk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gatti III throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gatti III scores with a hook to the body. Shurk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gatti III looks to throw the jab but Shurk is out of range.
Gatti III swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shurk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gatti III displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shurk throws out the jab.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Gatti III! Shurk is backing up but he can't get away as Gatti III lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Shurk and ends the fight. Great knockout.
