Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novo tries to close the distance and clinch but silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Novo sprawls well. He's pushed silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Novo moves into range and clinches up with silva.
silva tries to score a body lock takedown but Novo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Novo manages to break the clinch.
Novo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well Novo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
