Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Solitaire Unraveling. Diesel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I drink alone. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Diesel does no damage.
Diesel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cox.
Diesel plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Cox fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Diesel throws a leg kick which misses Cox's front leg but catches the back leg as Cox tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diesel swings for the body but Cox moves out of range.
Diesel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cox.

Diesel lunges at Cox with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cox's hand.
Diesel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cox has time to react.
Bud Diesel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diesel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cox takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diesel dips to his left and cracks Cox with an uppercut!

Diesel is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Cox had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Diesel 's corner calls for a 1-2. Diesel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Diesel lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Diesel throws a leg kick but Cox checks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Diesel throws a sloppy head kick and Cox moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bud Diesel dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cox moves out of range as Diesel strikes.

Cox takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Diesel lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cox backwards.
Cox lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Diesel .
Cox is looking to break free of the clinch but Diesel has double underhooks.
Cox goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Cox works on Diesel 's body with a couple of short punches.
Cox tries to work over Diesel 's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Cox is looking to control Diesel 's arms but Diesel gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cox has his back to the cage.
Diesel manages to break the clinch.
Cox misses with a low kick.
Diesel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cox.

Cox tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Diesel scoring well with a low kick there.

Cox wants to slow Diesel down by chopping away at his legs.

Diesel is looking to slow Cox down with leg kicks.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Diesel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Diesel counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Diesel ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Diesel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cox sprawling to the canvas! Cox rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Diesel finish him?!
Cox is rocked!
Diesel connects with a superb combination that knocks Cox out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Diesel before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Cox!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bud Diesel ! Bud Diesel retains his heavyweight title!
