Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Loop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kizarn Ytall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kizarn Ytall will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anderson Loop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kizarn Ytall!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loop shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ytall but Ytall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Loop tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ytall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Loop somewhat.

Ytall decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ytall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Loop is not content to let Ytall control the position.
Ytall is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ytall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Loop defends it well.

Loop escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ytall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ytall postures up.

Ytall stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Ytall shoots in and bounces Loop off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ytall distracts Loop with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ytall passes Loop's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Loop looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Loop tries to get to full guard but Ytall has control of the leg.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Loop is looking for a triangle but Ytall pushes his legs off easily.
Ytall trying to control but Loop is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ytall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ytall content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Loop trying to keep a closed guard but Ytall is proving a slippery customer.

Loop looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ytall passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kizarn Ytall dominated that round.
That's time! Loop's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Ytall shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ytall working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Loop is not content to let Ytall control the position.
Loop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ytall working over Loop with some ground and pound. Loop looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Loop wanted to stand there but Ytall had control of the position.
Ytall throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

A close second round but Kizarn Ytall will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Loop working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ytall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ytall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Loop misses with a jab, cross combination.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Loop counters with a single leg into guard. Ytall didn't expect that.
Ytall lands some strikes from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Loop accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Loop is looking to take a break and control but Ytall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ytall is looking to control Loop's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ytall avoid being mounted?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ytall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Loop is fending him off so far but Ytall persists. Nope, Loop circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson Loop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kizarn Ytall.

Ytall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Loop has hold of Ytall's hands but Ytall slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ytall lands a nice short elbow.
Loop has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ytall is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anderson Loop.
Well Ytall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
