Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between saku raba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Hilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think raba might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ludacris-get back. Randy Hilton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, saku raba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Hilton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilton lands a really nice looking cross but raba seems unphased.
raba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
raba tries for a takedown but Hilton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
raba shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for saku raba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from raba does no damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from raba.
raba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
raba drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hilton has his foot on raba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. raba works his way back into a safe position though.

Hilton wants to improve his position but raba is controlling well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

raba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hilton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hilton looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

raba has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hilton wants to clinch.
raba gets the takedown into side control.
Hilton manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
raba wants to improve his position but Hilton is controlling well.
Hilton is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for raba!

raba is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hilton looking for a guillotine from mount but raba is having none of it.
Hilton has hold of raba's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and raba manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hilton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can raba hang on?

Hilton stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Hilton forces raba back against the cage and clinches.
Hilton tightens his grip and picks raba up, before dumping him to the ground. raba manages to land in guard.
Hilton postures up and lands a big shot to raba's brow.

Hilton stands and throws raba's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hilton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. raba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hilton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
raba tries to buck Hilton off but Hilton is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hilton scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at raba to see if he's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hilton looks up at the clock and then as raba takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hilton smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hilton lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hilton.
Hilton connects with a solid leg kick.
raba darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hilton tries to roll over but raba keeps him under control.
Hilton wants to get back to his feet.
raba is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
raba prevents Hilton from improving his position.
Hilton scores with a few weak punches.
Hilton gets back to full guard.
Hilton keeping moving, preventing raba from controlling successfully.

Hilton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. raba doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. raba manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
raba passes Hilton's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hilton looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Hilton manages to get to full guard.
Hilton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. raba is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hilton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take raba's back instead.
raba is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hilton gets his way!

raba tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Hilton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now raba is on top in guard.
Hilton manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
raba is squirming around, avoiding Hilton's attempts to control the action.

Hilton lands a heavy elbow.
raba has given up his back.
Hilton has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Hilton has both hooks in and is working for a choke. raba is in real trouble here. Hilton gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, raba is tapping out! Hilton wins by rear naked choke!
