Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Vilstedt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Angelosante! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angelosante dives in and grabs Vilstedt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vilstedt pushes down on Angelosante's head and hops out. Vilstedt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Angelosante fails with the takedown. Adam Vilstedt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Angelosante. Vilstedt has closed the distance and engaged Angelosante in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vilstedt controlling from the full mount. Angelosante tries to control the position but Vilstedt now has his back.

Angelosante looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Vilstedt lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Angelosante hold on?!

Angelosante fails with a takedown attempt. Vilstedt wants to clinch up but Angelosante keeps it at a distance. Angelosante changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vilstedt tries to avoid it but Angelosante manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vilstedt to the ground. Vilstedt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vilstedt has taken the fight to the clinch.

Vilstedt moves into range and clinches up with Angelosante. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vilstedt landing knees to the body.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vilstedt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Angelosante is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vilstedt defends well. Vilstedt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Angelosante not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Angelosante had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vilstedt is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Angelosante Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vilstedt's back instead. Vilstedt can't escape the position.

Vilstedt remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Angelosante will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Vilstedt tries to escape the position.
