Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roger Mcgiven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davi Silva!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgiven fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mcgiven will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mcgiven on the side of the head.
Mcgiven shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcgiven gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Mcgiven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva misses with the combination.
Mcgiven shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Silva stuffs the takedown.
Mcgiven shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcgiven gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Mcgiven bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mcgiven is breathing heavily.
Silva cracks the inside of Mcgiven's front leg.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Mcgiven walks into a left hand.
Mcgiven showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Mcgiven shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
Silva lands with a nice body kick.

Silva works Mcgiven's body with a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Roger Mcgiven has been cut.
Silva goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Mcgiven is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mcgiven. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Silva connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Mcgiven to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Silva!
