The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikhalovitch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zimmerman throws a right and a left that both miss.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mikhalovitch.
Mikhalovitch scores with a takedown into Zimmerman's guard.
Zimmerman wants to sweep here but Mikhalovitch controlling him for the moment.
Mikhalovitch slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Zimmerman manages to get back to half guard.
Zimmerman is trying to get back to full guard.
Zimmerman is pressing down on Mikhalovitch's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Zimmerman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mikhalovitch is controlling him.

Zimmerman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mikhalovitch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zimmerman looks gassed!

Zimmerman throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mikhalovitch uses it to pass to side control.
Mikhalovitch stands up.
Mikhalovitch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zimmerman was covering up waiting for the punch and Mikhalovitch finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mikhalovitch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Zimmerman is tightening it up a little... Mikhalovitch has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mikhalovitch reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mikhalovitch taps out! nice BJJ there by Zimmerman!
