Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jorge to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jorge is one step ahead there.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jorge has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jorge's guard.
Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jorge keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Jones postures up in Jorge's guard and throws a big left but Jorge blocks it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jorge looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jones passes into side control.

Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jorge is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jorge tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jorge takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Jones has hold of Jorge's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jorge tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Jorge screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jorge, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
