Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean Hennessy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mondragon Gangrena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mondragon Gangrena!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennessy scores with a hook to the body. Gangrena takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hennessy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gangrena swivels and escapes.
Gangrena tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gangrena takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gangrena throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gangrena drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gangrena has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gangrena there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gangrena misses with a wild combination.
Hennessy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gangrena has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Hennessy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hennessy throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gangrena ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hennessy moves away.

and Hennessy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mondragon Gangrena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hennessy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gangrena as he jumps to the side.
Gangrena wants to clinch but Hennessy slips to the side
letting Hennessy counter with a right hand.
Gangrena scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hennessy wants to control but Gangrena is keeping busy.
Gangrena is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Hennessy looking for submissions off his back.
Gangrena keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hennessy has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Gangrena. Oh but Hennessy has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Gangrena goes limp - he's gone! Hennessy jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
