Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fisk Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakuna Harako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fisk Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hakuna Harako!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harako was well out of range. Poor timing from Harrison.
Harrison takes a swing at Harako's ribcage but misses.
Hakuna Harako seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harrison throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harako.
Harako closes the distance and clinches up with Harrison, looking for a takedown. Harako pushes Harrison against the cage but Harrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Harako throws a series of strikes that have Harrison backpedaling.
Harrison throws a combination that misses
and Harako counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Harrison tries to bum rush Harako with a series of wild strikes but Harako uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Harrison throws a jab when Harako was well out of range.
Harako is looking to clinch but Harrison is avoiding it.
Harako throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harrison's waist but Harrison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harako off to one side.
Harako throws a head kick but Harrison moves out of range.

Harrison gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Harako wants to get up but he can't break Harrison's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Harako tries to stand but Harrison is controlling from the bottom.
Harrison tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Harrison has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Harako off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Harrison avoids the head kick by Harako.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Harako fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harrison sprawls well initially but Harako persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Harrison looks like he's trying to stand up.
Harrison wants to improve his position but Harako is controlling well.
Harako trying to control from half guard but Harrison is working away.
It looks like Harako is going to stand back up.
Harrison gets back to full guard.
Harako is looking to work some ground and pound but Harrison has wrist control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Harrison has his foot on Harako's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harako works his way back into a safe position though.
Harrison is breathing heavily.
Harako stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harako wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving.
Harrison manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Harako tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Harrison fails to take his opponent's back.

Harrison stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Harrison misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harako.
Harrison leaves Harako with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fisk Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hakuna Harako.
Harako throws a sloppy head kick and Harrison moves out of range easily.
Harrison displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Harako.
Harako shoots in for a takedown but Harrison shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Harako shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Harako tries for a takedown but Harrison sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Harako misses with a few strikes there.
Harrison leaves Harako with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Hakuna Harako will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Harrison thows a left - swing and a miss!
Harrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harrison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fisk Harrison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harrison fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harrison stuffs the takedown attempt from Harako. Harako gets slowly back to his feet.

Harako shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Harrison manages to get to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harrison is on top in guard.
Harako really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Harako is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Harrison pushes down on Harako's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Harrison moves into full mount! Harako won't be happy about that!
Harrison seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Harako is holding on tight.
Harako tries to hold on but Harrison pushes him away.
Harako tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Harako is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Harako is looking to improve his position but Harrison isn't that keen on the idea.
Harako tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Harrison has taken his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Harrison is persistently looking for the submission but Harako is defending it well.
I really don't envy Harako right now.
Harako is trying to stand back up.

Harrison is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Harako has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Harako controlling his opponent's hands, preventing the submission attempt.

Harrison is not going to allow Harako to sit and survive in this position.
Harrison controlling well, preventing Harako from escaping the position.
Harako is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Harako tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fisk Harrison dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Harako closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Harrison parries the strikes from Harako easily there. Harako is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Harrison to escape.
Harako throws a strike aimed at the side of Harrison's head but Harrison avoids it well.
Harrison is looking to regain half guard here but Harako keeps moving and retains side control.

Harako decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Harako displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harrison throws out the jab.
Harako tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harrison swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Harako shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Harako drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Harako wants to stand but Harrison is controlling his arm.
Harrison gets back to half guard.
Harrison regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Harako.
Harrison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harako is one step ahead there.

Harako has gone for a leg lock! Harrison slips out almost immediately though and dives into Harako's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harrison works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Harako won't allow Harrison to pass to mount.
Fisk Harrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Harrison is thwarting Harako's attempts to control the position.
Harrison tries to pass to full mount but Harako defends it.
Harako is holding on to half guard well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harrison is looking to advance position but Harako won't allow it.
Harako is trying to control but can't.
Harako is controlling Harrison's position as best he can from this difficult position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Harako fails with a takedown attempt.
Harako tries for a takedown but Harrison sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fisk Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hakuna Harako.
Harrison throws a shot to the body.
Harako fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Harrison cracks a nice hook into Harako's ribs.
A slow jab from Harako misses its intended target.
A swing and a miss from Harrison.
Harrison throws a body punch but Harako moves out of range.
Harako throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Harako shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Harako won't allow Harrison to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hakuna Harako comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harako has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
