The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson swinging wilding here.
Kiss avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kiss shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Kiss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kiss pushes Johnson off and gets back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Jerel Johnson will probably get the nod.

and Kiss counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that.

Johnson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kiss has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Kiss lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Johnson down.
