The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hibbs lands with a slapping head kick.
Hibbs throws a head kick but Borzoev moves out of range.
Adam Borzoev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hibbs - that will leave a mark!
Hibbs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Borzoev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hibbs shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Borzoev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Borzoev is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hibbs scores with a couple of nice shots.
