Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piyapwn Chakwow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregorio Aquino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregorio Aquino is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aquino feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Aquino won't allow Chakwow to get back to his feet.

Aquino drops back looking for a leg! Chakwow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chakwow manages to kick Aquino off! Aquino jumps back into Chakwow's guard.
Chakwow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aquino on the ground.
Aquino throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Aquino is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Aquino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aquino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chakwow is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aquino.
Aquino avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chakwow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Aquino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Aquino prevents Chakwow from escaping the position.

Aquino has hold of Chakwow's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Chakwow seems comfortable defending it but Aquino has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Chakwow is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Chakwow is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Aquino couldn't care less - he's delighted!
