Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Wankerl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wankerl has chosen Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaac Wankerl! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin clinches. Wankerl goes for a takedown attempt but Griffin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Griffin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wankerl to score an easy takedown into full guard. Griffin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wankerl is aware though and is defending well. Griffin wants to sweep here but Wankerl controlling him for the moment. Wankerl stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Griffin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wankerl drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Griffin dives on top into guard. Wankerl looking for a sweep. Not yet Wankerl, not yet. Griffin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wankerl keeping moving, preventing Griffin from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wankerl is on top in guard.
Griffin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wankerl. Griffin wants to sweep here but Wankerl controlling him for the moment. Wankerl postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wankerl is looking to stand up but Griffin won't let him. Griffin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Griffin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wankerl is aware though and is defending well. Wankerl slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Griffin tries to improve position but can't. Griffin is breathing heavily. Wankerl wants to control but Griffin is keeping him busy. Griffin parries the strikes from Wankerl easily there. Wankerl is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Griffin to escape.
Wankerl tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Griffin regains half guard. Griffin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Griffin wants to sweep here but Wankerl controlling him for the moment. Griffin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wankerl doesn't defend quickly enough and Griffin has managed to lock this one up! Can Wankerl escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Griffin on a fantastic submission victory.
