Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KC Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Whoop Rico. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, KC Johnson! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease. Johnson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A combination from Johnson does no damage. Johnson lands a left and a right that send Jackson crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Ray Jackson has been cut. Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson tries to push Johnson's head away but Johnson is holding on tight. Johnson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jackson prevents Johnson from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johnson's head. Jackson thows a huge punch but Johnson dodges it nicely.

Johnson is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Johnson works his way to full guard. Good work. Jackson won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson lands a couple of digs. Jackson looking to pass the guard. Jackson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Johnson looks gassed! Jackson advances position into side control! Jackson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johnson regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is not content to let Jackson control the position. Johnson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jackson advances position into side control! Jackson cracks Johnson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson looks up at the clock and then as Johnson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jackson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jackson taking a break here but Johnson is having none of it and regains half guard. Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Johnson pushes Jackson off and gets back to his feet. Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A head kick from Jackson lands but Johnson takes it in his stride. Jackson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jackson prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but KC Johnson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ray Jackson's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jackson throws a combination that misses and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jackson lands strikes from half guard. Jackson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Johnson is staying active underneath Jackson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Johnson taking some punishment here, with Jackson in his half guard. Jackson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Johnson to stand up. Ray Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Johnson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jackson connects with a decent elbow. Jackson trying to control the position but Johnson is working away. Jackson cracks Johnson with an elbow. That is naaassty. Johnson is not content to let Jackson control the position. Johnson is being controlled here.

Jackson takes a little break here. Johnson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Jackson with the ground and pound but Johnson regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Jackson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johnson's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jackson lands a nice short elbow. Jackson seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson is not content to let Jackson control the position. Johnson tries to get to full guard but Jackson has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson throwing shots but Johnson is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ray Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jackson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jackson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Jackson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ray Jackson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Johnson!

Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Johnson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Johnson tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Johnson throws a low kick but Jackson avoids it. Jackson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Johnson lands with a nice body punch. Johnson throws a body punch but Jackson moves out of range. KC Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jackson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jackson walks into a left hand. Jackson wants to clinch. No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. Johnson with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson tests Jackson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson cracks Johnson with a solid left hand. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position. Jackson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Johnson is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard. Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Johnson wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Johnson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jackson misses with a double jab
and Johnson counters with a series of strikes. Jackson will be more careful next time no doubt. Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee asks Jackson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jackson prefers to stall for the moment though. Johnson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jackson.
Jackson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jackson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Johnson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Johnson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jackson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
And that's the end of the fight! KC Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
