Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Sarbinov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tap Out! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sarbinov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Out wants to improve his position but Sarbinov is controlling well.
Out is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sarbinov pulls his head out easily. Out looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sarbinov controlling the action here. Out is trying to get back to full guard. Out looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Out looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Out makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out is looking for a triangle but Sarbinov pushes his legs off easily.
Out looks gassed! Out is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Out keeping full guard, as Sarbinov tries to pass. Sarbinov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Out working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sarbinov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sarbinov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sarbinov landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Out looking for subs off his back but Sarbinov has passed one foot through into half guard.
Sarbinov slips a nice elbow through Out's hands, connecting with Out's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sarbinov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Sarbinov trying to pass the guard but Out defending well. Out looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sarbinov winds up and cracks Out with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sarbinov is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sarbinov working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out looking for submissions off his back. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Out looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sarbinov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Out is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sarbinov pulls his head out easily. Sarbinov controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sarbinov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Out really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Out is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sarbinov content just to control the position here. Sarbinov working Out over with strikes here. Sarbinov controlling from mount. Out is working to get back to half guard.
Sarbinov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuri Sarbinov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Out sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Sarbinov passes to full mount! Out is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sarbinov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Out looks a forlorn figure.
Out is rocked! Out really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Out is still in real trouble! Can Sarbinov finish him? Sarbinov with the ground and pound from mount. Sarbinov looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Out covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
