Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between San Cristobal Fuente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Silverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, San Cristobal Fuente! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Silverson! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silverson fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Silverson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Fuente avoids the body shot from Silverson.
Silverson works Fuente's body with a nice hook. Silverson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fuente in his tracks. Fuente throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silverson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Silverson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fuente doesn't seem bothered though. Fuente blocks a jab. Fuente shoots in for a takedown but Silverson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Silverson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fuente moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Silverson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silverson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fuente taking shots to the head. Silverson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Silverson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fuente turns into him and now he's in Silverson's guard.
Silverson is pulling down on Fuente's head. It's preventing any offense from Fuente, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuente wants to pass the guard but Silverson is keeping the position. Silverson wants to sweep but no luck. Fuente wants to control from the top but Silverson keeps moving. Fuente looking to sit in guard and control but Silverson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silverson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Silverson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fuente looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Silverson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silverson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fuente works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Silverson scoring with punches to the head and body. Fuente is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fuente is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Silverson is aware though and is defending well. Silverson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Silverson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Silverson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fuente's guard. Fuente on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Fuente is breathing heavily. Ground and pound from Silverson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silverson connects with a nice short shot to Fuente's temple. Fuente looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Silverson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Silverson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Silverson throwing shots but Fuente is blocking nicely. Silverson thows a huge punch but Fuente dodges it nicely.

Fuente taking some punishment here, with Silverson in his half guard. Fuente is looking for a sweep. Silverson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silverson uses his free foot to push down on Fuente's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fuente. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silverson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silverson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fuente controls the pace. Fuente has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Silverson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fuente is one step ahead there. Fuente wants to control from the top but Silverson keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silverson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Silverson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fuente counters with a takedown into side control. Silverson manages to get back to half guard. Fuente is pressing down on Silverson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silverson is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fuente missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fuente tries to stand and escape but Silverson is controlling the position. Fuente looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fuente trying to advance position but Silverson counters by regaining guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silverson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Silverson is trying to control the position but Fuente postures up. Silverson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fuente has passed into side control.
Silverson regains half guard there - taking advantage of Fuente's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silverson tries to get to full guard but Fuente has control of the leg. Fuente throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fuente is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silverson is just riding it out for now. Fuente eventually gives up the hold. Silverson gets full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silverson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silverson landing strikes from the mount. Silverson punishing his opponent with strikes. Fuente is bucking up trying to escape but Silverson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Silverson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fuente looks a forlorn figure.

Fuente is rocked! Silverson cracks Fuente with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fuente throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Silverson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Silverson feints and then cracks Fuente's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fuente down. Silverson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Horrible takedown by Fuente or perhaps it was just good defense by Silverson which made him look bad. Silverson fails with the takedown and Fuente counters with a nice body kick. Silverson drives through with a takedown into guard. Fuente looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Silverson stands and throws Fuente's legs to the side, diving into side control. He's bucked Silverson off and has taken his back! Fuente lands an elbow to the side of the head. Fuente looking for the choke from the back. What can Silverson do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuente has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Silverson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Silverson throws and elbow that misses. Fuente uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Silverson's guard. Nice move by Fuente! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fuente accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fuente seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

And that's the end of the fight! Andy Silverson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silverson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
