Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Francois Maximilian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Tixarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tixarian has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Andy Tixarian will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Maximilian throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tixarian looks gassed!
Maximilian misses with a low kick.
Maximilian throws a series of punches but Tixarian avoids them all with ease.
A head kick misses from Maximilian.
Maximilian is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tixarian's half guard.
Maximilian moves nicely into side control.

Maximilian fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
