Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Dyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Young I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerald Young I has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nick Dyer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Dyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Young I! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young I with a hook.
It looks like Nick Dyer has been cut. Dyer misses the shot to the body. Young I misses with a takedown attempt - Dyer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Young I dives in and grabs Dyer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dyer pushes down on Young I's head and hops out. Dyer throws a head kick that misses. Young I changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dyer tries to avoid it but Young I manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dyer to the ground. Dyer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nick Dyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerald Young I. Dyer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Young I pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Dyer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dyer stuffs the takedown attempt from Young I. Young I gets slowly back to his feet. Dyer throws a nice looking combination but Young I bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Young I fails to land the takedown. A head kick misses from Dyer. A head kick misses from Dyer. Dyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Young I shoots in for a double leg but Dyer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Young I tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dyer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young I throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dyer counters with a good, hard body kick but Young I shrugs it off. Young I looks gassed! Dyer lands with a nice combination. Young I backs away looking to recover. Dyer scores with a nice strike. Dyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Young I throws a combination that misses and Dyer counters with a head kick. That will keep Young I thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Young I tries to clinch and Dyer counters with a flying knee. Nice. Dyer slaps away a takedown attempt from Young I, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dyer fakes the leg kick and cracks Young I in the body. Dyer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Young I's head. Young I scores a takedown into full mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Young I avoids the attempt from Dyer to control. Young I looking to control but Dyer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dyer really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Young I is in the full mount, landing strikes. Dyer can't escape the position.
Young I can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dyer is looking to escape. Dyer is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Young I is in the full mount, landing strikes. Young I raining down shots from the mount! Young I lands a big elbow. Young I is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dyer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Young I swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dyer is now in Young I's guard. A big mistake from Young I there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Young I pushes Dyer off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Young I darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Young I clinches but Dyer breaks the clinch and Dyer counters with a big head kick but Young I shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young I tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dyer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Young I shoots in for a takedown but Dyer shows good takedown defense. The fight stays on the outside here - Young I looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Young I has closed the distance and engaged Dyer in a clinch.

Young I has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dyer regains guard immediately. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dyer trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Dyer wants to sweep here but Young I controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gerald Young I will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nick Dyer's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Young I shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Young I tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dyer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dyer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dyer keeping moving, preventing Young I from controlling successfully. Dyer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Young I wants to stand but Dyer is controlling his posture from full guard. Young I scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dyer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Young I works over Dyer with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young I landing with the ground and pound. Young I distracts Dyer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dyer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Young I is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Young I wants to stand but Dyer is controlling his posture from full guard. Young I connects with a couple of short punches. Young I lands a couple of digs. Young I distracts Dyer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Young I trying to control but Dyer is working from the bottom. Young I chips away with some ground and pound. Young I trying to control the position from guard on top but Dyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young I stays in close to Dyer's body and controls the position. Young I makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Young I controlling from the top position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Gerald Young I just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Young I bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dyer's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young I closes the distance and pushes Dyer back into the cage. Young I tries to break free but Dyer pushes him back against the cage. Dyer prevents the takedown attempt.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Young I takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Dyer gets underhooks to prevent Young I's takedown attempt.
Nick Dyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerald Young I. Young I can't break the clinch.
Young I tries to break free but Dyer pushes him back against the cage. Young I tries to break the clinch but Dyer is controlling the position. Young I has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dyer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Gerald Young I has got the better of the ground game so far. Young I has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Dyer's body.

Gerald Young I showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nick Dyer's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Young I shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dyer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Young I trying to control but Dyer is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dyer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Young I gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Young I lands a couple of digs. Young I is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Young I must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Young I trying to control the position from guard on top but Dyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young I is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Young I scoring with punches to the head and body. Young I lands a couple of elbows. Dyer has momentary wrist control but Young I slips an elbow through the middle. Dyer wants to stand and escape but Young I is having none of it. Dyer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Young I is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Young I content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Dyer is trying to control the position but Young I postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young I wants to control from the top but Dyer keeps moving. Young I stays in close to Dyer's body and controls the position. Young I makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Young I seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Young I wants to get up but he can't break Dyer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Young I controlling from the top position. Young I wants to control from the top but Dyer keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young I stands up over Dyer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Young I avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Young I with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Young I not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Young I trying to control the position from guard on top but Dyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Young I trying to control from half guard but Dyer is working away. Nick Dyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Young I lands a nice short elbow. Dyer is looking to improve his position.
Dyer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Young I stalling. Gerald Young I is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Young I moves nicely into side control. Dyer throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
And that's the end of the fight! Gerald Young I comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Young I winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
