Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiago Silva has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiago Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch up.
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt.

Sanchez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sanchez is out of range and Silva settles back down.

so Sanchez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Sanchez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.

Silva wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling the position.

Silva wants to get back to his feet but Sanchez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sanchez tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sanchez passes into half guard.

Silva is looking to control Sanchez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Silva does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Sanchez pushes him off.
Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanchez pinned against the cage. Sanchez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva throws a front kick aimed at Sanchez's knee but Sanchez avoids it well.

Silva manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Sanchez jumps guard but Silva stands there with Sanchez around his waist. Sanchez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tiago Silva will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Marco Sanchez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
