Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henery McLovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Robert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLovin comes to the cage accompanied by In my head. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henery McLovin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Robert!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLovin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Robert tries to clinch but McLovin is having none of it.
McLovin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Robert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rich Robert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McLovin shoots in for a takedown but Robert shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henery McLovin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robert has his takedown stuffed
and McLovin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Robert's guard now.
McLovin trying to control the position from guard on top but Robert is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Robert wants to stand and escape but McLovin is having none of it.
McLovin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McLovin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Robert working for a triangle but McLovin defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robert is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McLovin is aware though and is defending well.
McLovin wants to control from the top but Robert keeps moving.
McLovin drops back looking for a leg! Robert is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Robert manages to kick McLovin off! McLovin jumps back into Robert's guard.

Robert is trying to control the position but McLovin postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Robert looks to clinch
and McLovin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McLovin is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Robert wants to control but McLovin is keeping busy.

McLovin trying to control from half guard but Robert is working away.
McLovin wants to pass to mount but Robert is defending the position.
McLovin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Robert sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Robert gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McLovin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Robert's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robert wants to sweep but no luck.
McLovin being controlled here momentarily.
McLovin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Robert's guard.
Robert is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

McLovin throwing shots but Robert is blocking nicely.
McLovin wants to pass the guard but Robert is defending well.
McLovin trying to control the action but Robert is working from the bottom.
McLovin passes to full mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robert is in a horrible position here. McLovin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
McLovin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Robert has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Robert is working to get back to half guard.
Robert tries to hold on but McLovin pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McLovin manages to capitalize on a mistake by Robert to take his back!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
McLovin connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Robert to escape the position.
Robert is breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on Robert's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
McLovin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Robert looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
McLovin softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Robert tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Robert gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
Robert covers up after that shot from McLovin.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Robert shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McLovin counters with a takedown into side control.
McLovin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McLovin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McLovin slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Robert.
Robert is wriggling around trying to escape.
Robert takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

McLovin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Robert can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Robert can't escape the position.
McLovin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
McLovin is working for a guillotine from mount but Robert frees his head quite easily.
Robert is trying to escape the mount.
Robert is squirming around, avoiding McLovin's attempts to control the action.

Robert tries to hold on but McLovin postures up.
McLovin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Robert reaches up to try and control the position but McLovin seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Robert rolls and tries to escape and now McLovin has his back!
McLovin tightening his grip on Robert, looking for the choke.
The referee is taking a good look at Robert as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from McLovin!

Robert is trying to roll into a better position but McLovin has get a rear naked choke and Robert is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
