Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maik Murmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Bochniewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murmann comes to the cage accompanied by Nur ein Wort. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mariusz Bochniewicz! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bochniewicz tries to clinch there but Murmann circles away.
Murmann looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Bochniewicz darts in and clinches Murmann up against the cage. Murmann wants a takedown.
Bochniewicz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Murmann uses from the top position. Bochniewicz wants to get back to his feet but Murmann is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Murmann is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bochniewicz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bochniewicz has escaped and now he's on top! Murmann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Murmann could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Murmann being controlled here, momentarily. Murmann is looking for a triangle but Bochniewicz pushes his legs off easily.

Bochniewicz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bochniewicz stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Murmann is looking to control Bochniewicz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Murmann avoid being mounted? Murmann actively working from the bottom here. Murmann wants to control but Bochniewicz is keeping busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bochniewicz moves into the clinch successfully.

Murmann looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bochniewicz is one step ahead there. Murmann might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Murmann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bochniewicz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bochniewicz controlling from the top position. Murmann looking for subs off his back but Bochniewicz has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bochniewicz prevents Murmann from improving his position. Still in half guard, Bochniewicz seems content to control.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mariusz Bochniewicz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bochniewicz wants to clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bochniewicz instigates a clinch. Maik Murmann has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bochniewicz pulls guard successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Mariusz Bochniewicz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bochniewicz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
