Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hade Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes to the cage accompanied by Saul Williams-Black Stacey. Wood has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hade Wood!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Wood misses.
Banks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wood as he avoids it easily.
Banks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Banks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wood but Wood pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Wood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Banks sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wood jabs Banks right on the nose. Banks blinks but takes it well.
Wood scores with a hook to the body. Banks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wood fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Banks on the side of the head.
Banks dodges the punch combination from Wood.

Banks stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wood.
Banks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wood's waist but Wood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Banks off to one side.
Wood connects with a body shot.
Banks shoots in for a double leg but Wood sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wood misses with a two punch combination.
Wood throws a jab but it's blocked by Banks.

Wood connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Banks shoots in for a takedown but Wood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wood throws a one two combo.
Wood displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Banks.
Wood will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Banks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wood circles away.

Wood leaves Banks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Banks. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Wood throws a head kick that misses.
Wood misses with a looping left.
Banks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wood throws a right hand that Banks ducks under and follows up with a left that Banks also avoids with ease.
Banks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wood is fending him off so far but Banks persists. Nope, Wood circles away and we're back to standing.
Banks tries to clinch but Wood moves out of range.
Wood cracks a nice hook into Banks's ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hade Wood dominated that round.

Wood lands with a shot to the body.
Banks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A punch lands to the side of Banks 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Banks ducks under a wild hook from Wood.
Banks has a takedown stuffed.
Wood lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wood thows a body shot but no joy.

Banks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Wood misses with a straight right.
A jab lands there for Wood.
Wood drops Banks with a left and a right! Oh, Banks is hurt - Wood dives into side control looking to finish!
Banks is rocked!
Wood decides to stand up, so the ref orders Banks to his feet.
Oh Banks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hade Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wood connects with a superb combination that knocks Banks out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Wood before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Banks!
