Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louis Maas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and q a (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). a has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! q a will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, q a! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maas moves in looking to clinch but a pushes him off. a looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Maas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. a looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. a takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Maas sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but a is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

We're now in half guard. Maas is looking to advance position but a won't allow it. Maas thows a huge punch but a dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Maas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Maas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Maas postures up and lands a big shot to a's brow. Maas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

You can see the frustration on a's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Maas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that a can do to turn this around? a regains half guard.
