The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davidson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Reid throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davidson's waist but Davidson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reid off to one side.
Reid misses with a wild combination.
Davidson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reid is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Davidson jumps into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
