Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Francois Gays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Schalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gays kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is sexy back de justin timberlake. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Francois Gays! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Schalk! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Schalk or perhaps it was just good defense by Gays which made him look bad. Gays fails with the takedown and Schalk counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Schalk. Schalk looks gassed! Schalk prevents Gays from getting back to his feet. Schalk trying to control the position from guard on top but Gays is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gays pulls Schalk in close to prevent any damage. Gays wants to sweep but no luck. Gays pulls Schalk in to control the position. Schalk won't allow Gays to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gays is on top in guard.
Gays pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schalk is keeping the position for now. Gays trying to control the position from guard on top but Schalk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gays works a leg free and moves into half guard. Gays wants to pass the guard but Schalk is defending well. Gays is trying to control. Schalk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gays is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Schalk defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gays is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schalk sees it coming and defends easily. Schalk is looking to control Gays's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schalk avoid being mounted? Gays sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Schalk defending well though. Gays is keen to just control but Schalk is a slippery customer. Schalk is trying to stand back up but Gays is controlling him
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gays shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schalk is trying to defend but Gays finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gays performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gays throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gays passes to side control. Gays working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gays will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gays is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Schalk is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schalk is trying to improve his position. Schalk is not content to let Gays control the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Francois Gays dominated that round. That's time! Gays's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gays looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Gays shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Schalk counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Gays looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gays trying to control but Schalk postures up.
Gays moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gays is looking for a triangle but Schalk pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gays managing to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schalk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gays is proving hard to escape from. Gays is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schalk is aware though and is defending well. Schalk stops Gays from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gays looking to control.
Schalk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schalk with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gays works over Schalk's head and body with a nice combination. Francois Gays is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Schalk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Schalk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schalk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Schalk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gays tries to hold on but Schalk postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schalk content just to control the position here. Schalk looking to control but Gays is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gays slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Gays trying to control from the bottom.
Schalk prevents Gays from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Schalk trying to control the action but Gays is working from the bottom. Schalk trying to control the pace. Gays is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Gays is not content to let Schalk control the position. Gays gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Schalk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gays wants to clinch up but Schalk keeps it at a distance. Nice sprawl there from Schalk as Gays shoots in. Gays fails with the takedown and Schalk decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gays's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francois Gays. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schalk postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Schalk not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gays controls Schalk momentarily but Schalk frees himself. Gays keeping full guard, as Schalk tries to pass. Schalk trying to control the position from guard on top but Gays is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gays working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Schalk.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schalk postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Gays to stand up. Gays tries to clinch there but Schalk circles away.
Gays gets a clinch. Gays keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schalk's efforts to push away. Schalk wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gays has him pressed against the cage. Gays really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Schalk keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gays's efforts to push away. Gays gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Gays escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gays is looking to clinch. Gays fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gays throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Schalk sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gays tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Schalk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Schalk has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
