The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nelsons dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Nelsons's head and hops out.

Nelsons closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fighters circle momentarily. Williams darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Williams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Williams lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Williams throws a series of punches but Nelsons avoids them all with ease.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Williams, as that shot connected.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Williams cracks Nelsons with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Williams cracks Nelsons with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nelsons looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Williams scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Williams tests Nelsons's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Williams gets caught flat footed, as Nelsons shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Nelsons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nelsons drops back looking for a leg! Williams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Williams manages to kick Nelsons off! Nelsons jumps back into Williams's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Oh Nelsons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Williams might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Williams lands a really nice looking cross but Nelsons seems unphased.

Williams cracks Nelsons with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nelsons looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Williams finish him?
Nelsons walks straight into a right hand from Williams - that's dropped him! Williams jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nelsons from any more punishment! Nelsons complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tank Williams!
