The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch up.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
MeisterBurger shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
MeisterBurger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. MeisterBurger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. MeisterBurger is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take MeisterBurger's back instead.
MeisterBurger manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jones's guard. Nice work there by MeisterBurger.

MeisterBurger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
MeisterBurger postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jones has momentary wrist control but MeisterBurger slips an elbow through the middle.
MeisterBurger with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
MeisterBurger lands a couple of elbows.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MeisterBurger trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and MeisterBurger defends well.
MeisterBurger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but MeisterBurger puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

MeisterBurger lands a big elbow - Jones is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for MeisterBurger!
