Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between r r (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kilo Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilo Kane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kilo Kane!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane stuffs the takedown attempt from r. r gets slowly back to his feet.
r throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kane was covering up waiting for the punch and r finishes the takedown easily into guard.
r is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kane looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kane is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
r stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
r postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kane is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of r, into his guard.
r had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. r Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kane's back instead.
Kane tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
r jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kane is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kane and r has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
r working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

You can see the frustration on Kane's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
r dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on r's head and hops out.
r swats away the attempt to clinch by Kane.
Kane wants to clinch up but r keeps it at a distance.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
r shoots in for a takedown but Kane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for r r. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane clinches.
Kane breaks the clinch.
r takes a body punch but keeps moving.
r avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. r tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. r manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kane dives in and grabs r's left leg, looking for a takedown. r pushes down on Kane's head and hops out.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
r scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kane tries to kick r off but r keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that r r will probably get the nod.

r drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kane dives on top into guard.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Kane obliges.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for r, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
