The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hardy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hua gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hua has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hua tries to circle away but Hardy has him pinned against the cage.
Hardy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hua just stands there and leans against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hardy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hua walks away with a smile on his face. Hardy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Both fighters circling a little - Hua finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Hua lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hua shoots in but Hardy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dan Hardy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hardy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hua swivels and escapes.
