Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Roberts has closed the distance and engaged Tyson in a clinch.
Roberts presses Tyson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tyson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roberts throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Roberts shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Roberts was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tyson is in a horrible position here. Roberts smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roberts jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tyson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tyson and Roberts has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tyson wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Roberts.

Roberts has control of Tyson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tyson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Good leg kick by Tyson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Tyson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Roberts counters with a series of strikes. Tyson will be more careful next time no doubt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ivan Roberts will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
