The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggory shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diggory trying to pass the guard but Roberts defending well.
Diggory is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Roberts has managed to free his arm - good work.

Diggory wants to stand up but Roberts has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Diggory is trying to control the action in half guard but Roberts is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Diggory closes the distance and clinches up with Roberts, looking for a takedown. Diggory pushes Roberts against the cage but Roberts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Diggory counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Roberts!
Diggory looks gassed!
Roberts wants to hold on but Diggory pushes him away.
Roberts tries to reverse the position but Diggory maintains control.

Diggory blocks Roberts's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Diggory working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Roberts looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Diggory! Submission of the night perhaps?
