Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Tigechelar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Hussien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Tigechelar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Hussien! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hussien changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tigechelar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hussien is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tigechelar's shoulder. That is not cool. Tigechelar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hussien wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. An elbow from Hussien crashes against the mat.
Tigechelar is looking to regain half guard here but Hussien keeps moving and retains side control. Tigechelar struggling a bit here. Tigechelar tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tigechelar is working hard here to advance position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hussien looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tigechelar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hussien can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tigechelar keeping full guard, as Hussien tries to pass. Tigechelar keeping moving, preventing Hussien from controlling successfully. Hussien postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hussien got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tigechelar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hussien has managed to get both his arms back between Tigechelar's legs - danger averted. Hussien stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tigechelar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tigechelar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tigechelar will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Hussien must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hussien is sitting in close to Tigechelar's body. Tigechelar has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hussien is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hussien is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tigechelar.
