The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clancey moves away.
Clancey throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wesley moves in looking to clinch but Clancey pushes him off.
Nice straight punches there by Clancey. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Clancey.
Clancey scores with a jab.
Clancey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wesley.
Clancey misses with a wild combination.
Tom Clancey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wesley has closed the distance and engaged Clancey in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wesley takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Wesley gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wesley seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Timmy Wesley.

Wesley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clancey keeps working.

Wesley is pushing down on Clancey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Clancey is fighting to maintain full guard but Wesley has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wesley is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wesley wants to pass to mount but Clancey is defending the position.
Wesley is keen to just control but Clancey is a slippery customer.

Clancey is looking for a sweep. Wesley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Clancey pushes Wesley off looking to stand but Wesley dives back in and keeps control.
Wesley trying to control the action but Clancey is working from the bottom.

Wesley works his way into side control.
Clancey parries the strikes from Wesley easily there. Wesley is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Clancey to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Clancey seems a little lost for a moment, as Wesley dominates the positioning.
Wesley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Timmy Wesley just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Clancey throws a series of punches but Wesley avoids them all with ease.
Clancey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Clancey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wesley throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wesley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Clancey.
Wesley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Clancey counters with a three punch combo that has Wesley backing up. Wesley nods at Clancey to acknowledge the strikes.
Wesley slips a jab and a cross from Clancey.
Wesley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clancey circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Wesley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Clancey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Wesley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wesley swings for the body but Clancey moves out of range.
Clancey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wesley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Clancey lands with a hook. Wesley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wesley tries to close the distance and clinch but Clancey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wesley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wesley effectively controlling the action here.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Timmy Wesley.

Wesley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Clancey swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wesley counters with a left and a right that stings Clancey.

Clancey is breathing heavily.
Wesley fails to land with a series of punches.
Clancey is still on wobbly legs! Can Wesley finish him?

Wesley shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Wesley slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Wesley lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Timmy Wesley!
