Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Heartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trader Stiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trader Stiga will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Heartman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trader Stiga! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heartman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Heartman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stiga's guard. Heartman trying to control but Stiga is working from the bottom. Heartman looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stiga tries to land a sweep but no joy. Heartman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stiga trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Heartman is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Stiga keeping moving, preventing Heartman from controlling successfully. Stiga wriggles free and stands up. Heartman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Heartman swats away the attempt to clinch by Stiga. Heartman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stiga to the mat! Stiga manages to get full guard. Heartman is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heartman prevents Stiga from getting back to his feet. Stiga looking for a sweep. Not yet Stiga, not yet. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stiga lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Heartman! Stiga has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Heartman's face.

Heartman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Heartman tries to get out of the position. Stiga landing strikes, looking to finish! Heartman is bucking up trying to escape but Stiga cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Heartman is in a horrible position here. Stiga pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Heartman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Trader Stiga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Jake Heartman showed his dominance in that final round. Well Stiga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
