The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waul lands a nice hook to Malone's body. Malone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Waul as Malone shoots in.
Waul throws a shot from downtown. Malone moves away and avoids it.
Malone moves forwards but Waul connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Waul drops Malone with a beautiful combination! Malone stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Waul is looking for the KO!
Malone is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Malone.
Malone switches off momentarily and Waul cracks him with a monster right hand! Malone topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Waul dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Waul!
