Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Ross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Silver! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ross trying to control the action but Silver is working from the bottom. Ross is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ross. Ross wants to pass the guard but Silver is defending well. Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ross. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ross content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver is staying active underneath Ross, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Silver tries to kick Ross off but Ross keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Silver keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ross stops Silver from getting back to his feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ross swats away the attempt to clinch by Silver. Ross fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Silver moves in looking to clinch but Ross pushes him off. Silver misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ross tries for a takedown but Silver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silver misses with a head kick.
Ross takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Silver gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ross to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ross trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silver is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Silver gets underhooks to prevent Ross's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silver breaks from the clinch.
Ross feints and as Silver raises his hands in defense, Ross changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ross throws a strike but Silver rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Silver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ross has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silver has managed to get both his arms back between Ross's legs - danger averted. Ross is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver wants to stand but Ross is controlling his posture from full guard. Silver stands and steps away. Ross gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Silver throws a shot to the body.
Ross looks for a takedown but Silver sprawls well. John Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ross shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silver sprawls well. Silver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ross gets slowly back to his feet. Silver tries to close the distance and clinch but Ross swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ross throws out a powerful jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver lands a left and a right that send Ross crashing to the mat, dazed. Silver thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ross is rocked!
It looks like Bob Ross has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ross is holding his hands too far apart here. Silver throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Ross is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Silver!
