Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Sewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira throws a wild body kick that Sewell sees coming a mile off.
Ferreira fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sewell sprawls well initially but Ferreira persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

and Ferreira counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sewell won't be happy with that.

Sewell has his foot on Ferreira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ferreira works his way back into a safe position though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sewell is on top in guard.

Sewell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ferreira shoots in looking for a takedown. Sewell tries to sprawl out of it but Ferreira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sewell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gabriel Ferreira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
