Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KINGEN KOKO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Wagner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, KINGEN KOKO! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wagner scores a takedown into full mount! Wagner wants to control the pace but KOKO is squirming around nicely. KOKO is bucking up trying to escape but Wagner cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Wagner wants to control the action but instead KOKO gets a body lock and reverses into Wagner's guard! Nice work! KOKO working some strikes from top position. Wagner keeping moving, preventing KOKO from controlling successfully. Wagner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wagner is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. KOKO trying to hold on to Wagner's head to control him but Wagner postures up.
Wagner controlling the pace. Wagner stands up from half guard. KOKO tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wagner paws at him with a jab and circles away. KOKO tries to clinch but Wagner moves out of range. KOKO fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wagner shoots in for a takedown but KOKO shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. KOKO pushes Wagner away with a front kick. KOKO fails with a takedown attempt from distance. KOKO moves in looking to clinch but Wagner pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wagner dives in and grabs KOKO's left leg, looking for a takedown. KOKO pushes down on Wagner's head and hops out. KOKO looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. KOKO fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - KOKO looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wagner misses with a body kick. KOKO throws a right and a left that both miss. Wagner misses with a double jab
and KOKO decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wagner's guard. KOKO has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wagner is proving hard to escape from. Wagner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. KOKO is trying to stand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. KOKO has one foot on Wagner's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Wagner avoids the head kick by KOKO.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Wagner breaks from the clinch.
Wagner throws a sloppy head kick and KOKO moves out of range easily. Wagner feints and as KOKO raises his hands in defense, Wagner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. KOKO keeping moving, preventing Wagner from controlling successfully. Wagner sitting in guard here, content to control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if KOKO can do anything to dispel that myth. Wagner trying to control the position from guard on top but KOKO is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. KOKO uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A head kick misses from KOKO. Wagner scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wagner clinches with his opponent.

KOKO misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wagner.
KOKO tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wagner is trying to work for a single leg takedown but KOKO pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse Wagner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wagner is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Wagner misses with a takedown attempt - KOKO sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wagner gets the takedown into side control. Wagner is trying to get an arm triangle but KOKO is defending well. KOKO manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Wagner gets back to full guard.
KOKO in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. KOKO throws a big right hand that misses. KOKO is stalling in the full guard. KOKO landing some decent shots from guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. KOKO won't allow Wagner to get back to his feet. Wagner working a defensive guard but KOKO manages to pass into side control anyway.
Wagner wants to control but KOKO postures up. KOKO has control of an arm but Wagner manages to advance to KOKO's back! KOKO lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Wagner covering up well under a barage of strikes. KOKO struggling to keep hold of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wagner is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
KOKO has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. KOKO is striking from the back but Wagner escapes and manages to recover to half guard. Wagner is looking to escape. KOKO throwing shots but Wagner is blocking nicely. Wagner missing with punches from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. KOKO wants to clinch but Wagner slips to the side and Wagner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. KOKO wants to get back to his feet. Wagner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. KOKO keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. KOKO is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wagner scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. KOKO is refusing to be controlled, as Wagner sits in half guard. Wagner decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. KOKO scores with a kick to the midsection. KOKO decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. KOKO is just content to waste time from the top position. Wagner takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Wagner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but KOKO can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wagner wants to stand up but KOKO is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Wagner dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Wagner gets in close and instigates a clinch. KOKO is looking to control Wagner's arms but Wagner gets an underhook and turns him. Now KOKO has his back to the cage. KOKO is trying to force a seperation but Wagner has the dominant position. A body shot lands from Wagner.
Wagner gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. KOKO wants to stand but Wagner is controlling the position. Wagner stands up from KOKO's guard - Wagner perhaps looking for a knockout. A head kick by KOKO misses and Wagner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wagner. Wagner is working for takedown but KOKO is calmly controlling the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wagner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. KOKO throws a head kick that misses and Wagner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. KINGEN KOKO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wagner instigates a clinch. Wagner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wagner misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wagner closes the distance and clinches. Wagner breaks the clinch.
KOKO closes the distance looking to clinch and Wagner counters with a lovely straight right hand! KOKO clinches but Wagner breaks the clinch and Wagner moves into the clinch. KOKO tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wagner smiles and moves away.
KOKO gets caught flat footed, as Wagner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. KOKO wants to stand but Wagner is controlling the position. Wagner controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. KOKO is looking to stand back up but Wagner counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by KOKO. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wagner is trying to control. KOKO wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wagner connects with a nice short shot to KOKO's temple. Wagner stops KOKO from getting back to his feet.
Wagner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks KOKO with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wagner wants to control but KOKO is keeping him busy. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wagner drops an elbow to the side of KOKO's head. KOKO pushes Wagner off but Wagner dives into side control.
KOKO tries to escape but Wagner is in control. KOKO takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Wagner scores with punches from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wagner connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused KOKO some visible discomfort.
Wagner looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. KOKO is trying to get back to his feet. Wagner decides to stand up, so the ref orders KOKO to his feet. Wagner tries to clinch up. KINGEN KOKO has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! KOKO closes the distance and clinches up with Wagner, looking for a takedown. KOKO pushes Wagner against the cage but Wagner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wagner fails with the takedown. Wagner scores with a takedown into KOKO's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Wagner showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wagner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
