Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Snider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Reed looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed shoots for a takedown but Snider saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reed looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Crunch! Snider slams his shin into Reed's torso.
Snider is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Snider looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Snider trying to control from half guard but Reed is working away.
Snider working over Reed with some ground and pound. Reed looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Reed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reed tries to get out of the position.

Drake Snider dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Snider throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Snider is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reed sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jason Reed is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reed wants to control from the top but Snider keeps moving.
Snider is pulling down on Reed's head. It's preventing any offense from Reed, at least for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Reed won't allow Snider to sweep him here.

Reed avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Snider.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Reed controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Reed wants to sweep but Snider has passed to side control!
Reed tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Reed is not content to let Snider control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Reed dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Reed has his takedown stuffed

and Snider counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Drake Snider has got the better of the ground game so far.
Reed striking off his back but it's not causing Snider any problems.
Snider trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reed trying to keep a closed guard but Snider is proving a slippery customer.
Snider stands and throws Reed's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Reed takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Snider blocks the strikes from Reed.
Reed manages to work his way to half guard, despite Snider's best efforts.
Snider wants to control but Reed is keeping him busy.
Snider passes to side control.
Reed tries to buck Snider off but Snider is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Reed takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Reed is trying to control Snider's posture but Snider avoids it.
Reed being controlled for a moment.
Snider advances to mount.
Reed tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snider postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Reed looks a forlorn figure.
Snider with shots to the head and body - Reed looks very uncomfortable down there.
Reed tries to hold on but Snider postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A nice elbow there by Snider.
Reed tries to reverse the position but Snider maintains control.
Snider lands a heavy elbow.
Reed tries to reverse the position but Snider maintains control.
Snider pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Drake Snider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
