Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Gaston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Waway The Wild Man! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around The Wild Man's waist but The Wild Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gaston off to one side. The Wild Man shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. The Wild Man lands a nice short elbow. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gaston on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gaston is staying active underneath The Wild Man, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The Wild Man looks gassed! Gaston flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
